About Silvia Barban
Silvia Barban was born and raised In Italy. She studied in the E.maggia Stresa Culinary School and followed that up by working in one of the most important restaurants in Italy with Gualtiero Marchesi. Next she worked in a 2 Michelin starred restaurant with Chef Giancarlo Perbellink, her chef and mentor. Silvia moved to NYC six years ago for a consulting job in the meatpacking district and fell in love with the Big Apple, where she now lives. Next Silvia was the Executive Chef at Aita in Brooklyn where she was offered the chance to be the Chef and partner in her new project, Larina Pastificio e Vino. Silvia was a Top Chef contestant in season 14.
