About Ninotchka Gandulla
Ninotchka has been a professional in the spirits industry for over 10 years. Getting her start in Dragonfly, in Old San Juan, she was later recruited by Leslie Cofresi, a prominent mixologist in Puerto Rican history to be an apprentice at their bar, La Factoria, a top 50 best bar of the world, and later also study and join the Vino bar in Factoria with sommelier Franco Buso. Later she managed the bar and ran the cocktail program. She also loves to travel, constantly learn, and try new experiences. Certified in Barsmarts and WSET level 2. She currently is working as a Brand Ambassador for Serralles USA with spirits in her portfolio such as Don Q, Death's Door and Barrow's Intense Ginger. With several accolades in cocktail competitions such as the Bacardi Barbuild PDXC 2015, Absolut Invite Team Edition 2016, amongst others, she has further pushed her career with continuing education in building liquor brands which have taken her across continents. She has been part of pop ups in Mexico and participated in Shanghai's Celebrity Bartender Series. She has also been able to participate in programs such as Camp Runamok 2015, and 2016 and Bar Institute. Her cocktail style is simple, well thought out, fresh and fun. "I have a passion for hospitality. When people walk into my bar, I feel like the hostess of a dinner party, welcoming them into my home. This is what I do and I'm happy to accommodate people."
