Pastry Chef Mame Sow, who is of Senegalese origin, is today one of the most talked about, inspiring and innovative pastry chefs right out of New York. She has taken recipes from her native Dakar and fused them with her New York City culinary training to wow palettes with sweet delicacy. Most of her recipes are traditional and from Africa adding a seasoned approach to the familiar. She aims to show the immense diversity of African cuisine. She has worked at Spot Dessert, Bloomingdale's, Sugar Cane Raw Bar and Grill and now Bardessono Hotel & Spa in Yountville, California.
