About Tin Vuong
Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley, Chef Tin Vuong developed an affinity for worldwide flavors at an early age. Vuong’s family came to California from Vietnam, but his grandparents originally are from Shanghai. He grew up speaking Vietnamese and Cantonese, celebrating both New Years and eating food with origins in the two countries. After graduating from culinary school, Vuong began his career at the St. Regis Monarch Beach and Sapphire in Laguna Beach. Shortly after, he and partner Jed Sanford started Blackhouse Hospitality Group. Blackhouse Hospitality Group is a Los Angeles-based restaurant and hospitality group that owns and operates Little Sister in Manhattan Beach and Downtown LA; Abigaile, The Brewery at Abigaile, Día de Campo, and Steak & Whisky in Hermosa Beach; Wildcraft in Culver City; Bluegold and LSXO in Huntington Beach.
