About Samir Mogannam
Samir Mogannam is the chef/co-owner of Beit RIma, his first restaurant, serving up Arabic comfort food. He has worked at Mourad Lahlou’s original restaurant, Aziza, was the opening sous chef at Tawla, and the opening chef de cuisine at Dyafa, Reem Assil’s acclaimed Palestinian restaurant in Oakland. The chef also worked at Burgermeister, his father's business, briefly during his teenage years. He has run his own Palestinian pop-up, and considers Manny Torres Giminez, the opening chef behind Mr. Pollo and now chef/owner of Francisca’s, as a culinary mentor.
