About Thai Dang

Thai Dang first moved to Chicago with his wife/business partner Danielle in 2009, joining the then newly opened L2o Restaurant located inside the Belden Stratford Hotel. Three Michelin stars, and years working under chef Laurent Gras later, and he struck out on his own. In 2017, Thai and Danielle opened HaiSous and Cà Phê Đá in Pilsen. HaiSous has earned glowing reviews, both locally and nationally, secured a position on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list and was nominated by the James Beard Foundation as a semifinalist for best new restaurant.
