George is a lover of global cuisines and as a DC native of 7 years he's passionate about Ethiopian. Recently, he founded Small Small (www.buysmallsmall.com) which sells an Ethiopian spice and sauce and shares a portion of every sale to NGOs teaching modern agriculture in the source region. His sauce can be seen in the Washingtonian and on Chef Marcus Samuelsson's website. Deanna is a junior at Georgetown University and a total foodie. She has been interning at Small Small this past month, and loves bringing her African Studies certificate into the kitchen with traditional Ethiopian flavors.
