About Alessandro Campitelli
I was born and raised in Rome, Lazio, where I spent most of my life. My education comes from hotel and management school, but I consider my training to come from my experiences working for the best chefs in Rome and of course at home with mom and Grandmas! At 24 I decided to travel far from home to the United States in order to pursue a new experience. I chose San Francisco for its beauty and the unbelievable food knowledge of its patrons and workers. I moved here 14 years ago and I was the chef/owner of chiaroscuro restaurant for the past 10 years. Now I'm ready for my next challenge re-starting with POP up around the city and giving to people my experience retrieve during the years.
