About Adama Doumbia
Born in Senegal and raised in Mali, I was blessed to learn how to cook a variety of African cuisine, from both my mother and my aunt. My career as a dancer and drummer, brought me to Spain where I broadened my culinary imagination. As my travels expanded, so did my palate. I ran a roof top restaurant in South India, having access to lots of fresh spices and curries. Now planted in the US, I have learned much from my work in the kitchens of the SF Marriott and Cafe Gratitude. I enjoy creating all kinds of international cuisine, both veg and non-veg. In my culture, serving food to others is a great honor. It is a great opportunity to bring more love and joy to the world.
