About Ellen White

Ellen White began her food-preneurial journey in San Francisco in 2013 when she realized she owed her great health and relentless energy to her late grandmother who went foraging and cooking her homemade Korean food. Ellen was just a little girl when her grandmother's culinary skill shined throughout her hometown, Dobong Mountain in South Korea but her cooking technique and the love she put in her food never died. After many years working in corporate jobs and a MBA program in Sustainable Management, Ellen wants to show the world there is nothing more important than what and how we feed ourselves. Ellen is the owner of Ellen's Kimchi and due to the popular demand, she wants to show off her delicious Korean food recipes and demonstrate how they can be delicious, nutritious and sustainable. She teaches Make Your Own Kimchi Class in San Francisco and thousands of watchful eyes around the world visit her website for a glimpse of how Kimchi can benefit our body and soul.
