About Antonella and Giovanni Tripodi

Hello from Antonella and Giovanni. We were born and raised in Italy - yes, we still have our distinctive Italian accent! Antonella is from the mountainous region 40 miles east of Naples. Giovanni was born in Calabria at the very tip of the booth. Ours are typical southern Italian families. Sharing good food and wine with friends is part of our culture and enjoyment. We moved to USA almost two decades ago and we have been living in San Francisco for two years. We love our city and the food culture. We often host parties for our friends and share with them the earthy food we were used to eat at home. Giovanni went to college in Bologna, the capital of “pasta all’uovo” (egg pasta) and tortellini. While in college he learned how to mix the pasta dough and prepare tagliatelle, lasagne, gnocchi and other yummy pasta dishes. Antonella learned from mamma Anna how to prepare the traditional food we eat during the holidays. She prepares excellent home made pizza, zucchini blossoms frittelle, pastiera napoletana (Italian cheese cake), and, of course, a unique version of tiramisu. Our daily meals are always prepared from scratch with healthy ingredients. Feastly is a great opportunity to share our culinary passion with new friends. Like with all other friends, you will have the opportunity to prepare the meal with us while savoring Italian Hors d'oeuvre and sip aperitivo. We focus on thematic dinners: pasta or pizza night, holiday meal, etc. We look forward to welcoming you to our home to share traditional food and laughter. Buon Appetito!
