About Random Kitchen
Random Kitchen is a new project aiming to mix different palates and cultures of Los Angeles. It is now currently headed by Chef Jaypee Alayon. Background: Before Jaypee became a chef, he has been mixing creative meals from their home Kitchen in the Philippines at a very tender age of 14. When he arrived here in Los Angeles a few years later, his friends would visit him and specially request Filipino dishes to be made to get a taste of home. One thing led to another and he started to cater events and finally decided to go to school at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena. Now, with his naturally born basic knowledge of home cooking, he aims to explore more and integrate home cooking influenced by his roots, with fine dining in one of the biggest melting pots of the world, California.
