About Elie Lauter

I grew up baking at a pretty young age and really just fell in love with cooking from there. Throughout college I worked at restaurants- Eleven Madison Park in New York and then Saul's Deli in Berkeley- two very different restaurants, each unique in its own way. I loved interacting with customers and seeing what flavors made them happy and also just watching how food brought people together. In college I was also the Kitchen Manager for a coop and was responsible for ordering all the food and overseeing each meal in the house. I love making dinner with my friends and just hanging out after a long week. Shabbat dinners must include: friendship, good conversation, and good wine =)
