Originally from San Jose, California, I love to travel and have explored the lands and cuisines of Costa Rica, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, China, Brazil, Australia. I love immersing myself in new cultures and I think that cooking/eating is one of the closest ways to getting an authentic experience of a country and its history. It's also one of the best ways to bond with strangers and make new friends! I like to cook vegetarian food and make fancy salads.
