About Jonathan Gilad

I view my shabbat dinners as community building vs. a meal. The food is important, and should be plentiful as well as tasty, but if all the guests remember is the food than I'd consider it a failure. I'm more concerned with how comfortable my guests were. Did they meet new people? Did they feel supported and welcomed into our community? That for me is what I am hoping for.
