Cooking and eating good food was always in my life growing up in Istanbul. Turkey is a magical land with four seasons fresh ingredients and outrageously talented grandmas and moms. As a cook, I feel like this gave me a head start. I've been a professional cook and worked at many reputable restaurants such as Spago Beverly Hills, Animal, and Church and State French Bistro in Los Angeles and Central Kitchen in San Francisco where I live now. I'm so glad I moved to San Francisco because it offers amazing ingredients and great people who understand and care about good food. That's all you need.
