About Cory Farr

My name is Cory, and I originally hail from a small suburb outside of Chicago, IL. I love the outdoors, traveling, and of course, cooking. I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel the world and experience new cultures and flavors. Originally my cooking skills began to develop growing up watching/helping my mother in the kitchen. From there, I learned to cook more on my own in Boys Scouts, and earned the very prestigious Cooking Merit Badge :) I have always enjoyed cooking, but the year I spent in Korea after college really helped to spark my creativity and my passion to experiment with new flavors and techniques in the kitchen. While I’ve lived in DC I’ve hosted a few fairly large scale, 15-20+ friends, dinner parties at my home. I also enjoy sharing my love for cooking with my coworkers by preparing a wide array of dishes and snacks at my office including a whole Thanksgiving turkey and blueberry pancake breakfast. I'm excited to be working on my second Feastly event right now! Hope to see you there!
