About Cristiano Vasconcelos

I am Brazilian and grew up with strong Brazilian, Italian and Portuguese influences. I have always had a passion for cooking. When I was 12 years old, I started helping my mom and grandma prepare meals for the family. When I moved from São Paulo, Brazil to San Francisco almost three years ago, I felt ready to reinvent myself. Now was the time to invest in what I had always loved to do: cook. My first cooking job was in a Japanese restaurant in San Francisco. Japanese culture taught me that to become a chef, you have to undergo a long learning process. And that is exactly what I'm doing. In addition to working at a Japanese restaurant, I also work as a private chef, helping busy people prepare their weekly meals. So, I invite you all to join me in trying new experiences. See you soon.
