About Garrett Benedict
Chef Garrett Benedict has been cooking since he was 14 years old. He has worked all over the country, at some of the best restaurants in America. He apprenticed at the Michelin three star Restaurant at Meadowood in his early 20's. Next, he cooked at Ubuntu, the first vegetarian restaurant in the world to receive a Michelin star. Most recently he was the Chef de Cusine at AL's Place, in San Francisco. In 2015, AL's place was named the 'Best New Restaurant in America' by Bon Appetit Magazine. G-Love, Portland's first reverse steakhouse, is his first restaurant and the realization of a lifelong dream.
