About Matt Cruz
Matt Cruz was most recently was part of the Sous Chef team at 1 Michelin star, In Situ in San Francisco. Prior to In Situ, Cruz was the Executive Sous Chef of Lazy Bear, where he was instrumental in transforming the revered pop up to brick and mortar. Lazy Bear went on to receive 2 Michelin stars and Chef Cruz was named one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 in 2015. Chef Cruz’s cuisine is inspired by his time spent cooking in California, living in the South, and his affinity for Japanese cuisine.
