What Happens When Napa and Chefs Feed Party?

On Monday, we threw a party with Napa Sonoma magazine to celebrate our expansion into wine country. Here are a few highlights from the event.

The Space: Ma(i)sonry kindly hosted us in its beautiful back courtyard and gallery space. Definitely stop in if you're passing through Yountville and want to check out some beautiful art and wine.

Thanks Heidi Brown (@heidieatsalot) for the photo!

The Food: We went big. Like epically big on the food front, with chef Justin Deering roasting a whole pig and Zuzu cooking a massive wood-fired paella. There were no leftovers.

The Chefs: Thanks to all the chefs that came out to party including Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani (Terra and Bar Terra), Sean O'Toole (TORC), Mark Dommen (One Market Restaurant), Tim Luym (Attic Restaurant), Andrew Wilson (The Lodge at Sonoma), Ari Weiswasser (Glen Ellen Star), Larry Forgione (CIA), and Lizzie Binder.

Overheard: Someone coming up to Hiro Sone because they recognized him from his Chefs Feed video from our series "Chefs Read Bad Reviews" where he responded to the worst reviews of Terra on camera.

The Contest: Last week, you might recall we held a little contest in conjunction with Virgin America and Uber to bring a lucky winner and friend out to party with us. Congrats to
Brittany Hamilton who joined us with her friend Pamela!

We want to give a big thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate with us, and to everyone that has downloaded Chefs Feed and checked out the new content! If you haven't checked out our Napa section, you can download Chefs Feed on
Android or iOS, or check it out on the web.

We also want to give a shout out to welcome all the new Napa/Sonoma contributing chefs: Andrew Wilson, Sean O'Toole, Ari Weiswasser, Steven Tevere, Lena Kwak, Stephen Barber, Ken Frank, Matthew Tinder, Rogelio Garcia, Kelly McCown, Brandon Sharp, Robert Curry, Hiro Sone, and Christopher Kostow. Thanks for sharing your recommendations with us!
