ChefsFeed, Now Paired with the Finest Beverages In All The Land
May 1, 2018 ● 1 min read
Exciting news, people.
We're pleased (as punch!) to announce that we've opened up ChefsFeed's media platform to welcome our first ever beverage experts. Over the next few months, be on the lookout as thousands of bartenders, coffee roasters, sommeliers, brewers, and more join the ranks of the chefs you already know and love—and bring their savvy palates and industry insight with them.
What's that mean for you? Learn to order booze like someone as outrageously cool as Air's Champagne Parlor and Tokyo Record Bar owner Ariel Arce. Want to expand your beer IQ, or learn to read a cocktail menu like an adult with great taste? Mayhaps you should follow Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal or bartender extraordinaire Martin Cate of Smuggler's Cove (that bar you can’t get into unless you prove Tiki Is Life and show up right at opening.) And if you've lost years of your life gazing at latte art, guess what, Steven Lim—that's World Latte Art Champion Steven Lim—is here too.
Here's a full rundown of what to look for:
1. In our mobile apps/website, you can now filter your search and browsing results by dishes OR drinks. You'll start to see recs for coffee, cocktails, beer, and wine, as this dynamic community grows.
2. You can now browse experts by specialty, and begin to see the best in the beverage industry mixed in among all the awesome chefs in our apps.
3. The same flow of new stories and videos, with a renewed emphasis on cocktails, coffee, beer, and wine culture.
4. On top of all that, we've opened up shop in 14 of the fastest-growing food and beverage destinations all over the country. Over the coming months, watch for new additions in: Asheville, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit, Ft Lauderdale, Kansas City, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Jersey, Phoenix, Portland, ME, Raleigh-Durham, and St. Louis.
So. Much. Goodness. Get to discovering and tell us what you find!
