Preeti Mistry is the chef/co-owner of Juhu Beach Club and Navi Kitchen. She is a filmmaker-turned-chef who cooks Indian fare with a distinctly Bay Area sensibility — it's aggressively tasty food made from the best ingredients, and it's served in a casual, fun environment. She was a season six contestant on the popular show Top Chef.

"I’ve never been to India, but I know the food is authentic here, as chef Preeti Mistry has inherited many of her family’s recipes. I especially love the Sloppy Lil'P pav, a deliciously rich concoction with a warm blend of spices and a kick at the end. The pav rolls are like little pillows of bready goodness! Be sure to wash it down with a Sassy Lassi, a refreshing mango and lime yogurt cooler. Don’t miss that spicy popcorn—it’s addictive! This is the place to come for intense, tasty bites."
