"Fava Bean Mash | Home-cured Anchovies | Mountain Rye | Pickled Shallots | Cilantro Flowers from my garden. Curing your own anchovies 🐟🐟 are worth the effort, and that @joseybakerbread made my morning. πŸžπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ"

"Anchovies deserve love too. πŸ’•Of course you've had them before, they're the secret ingredient in your Caesar salad. πŸ₯— They're the reason why fish sauce smells like dirty feet but makes everything taste so damn good. Most Americans have probably experienced eating overly fishy anchovies packed in low-quality (and possibly rancid) olive oil. Do yourself a favor and pick up some high quality anchovies packed in salt, or try salt or vinegar curing your own fresh anchovies (see my Stories), or just go to Spain! It'll change your life...the anchovies and the trip to Spain. πŸ˜‰"

"I went to Portland and left with my suitcase overflowing with Portlandian handcrafted things, fried chicken oozing from my pores, a higher tolerance for hail storms, a mean golf swing, and best of all.. I left with my heart full from the welcoming energy and kindness I received from all the amazing new friends I had met up there. Portland is a special place. Thank you @chefsfeed and @travelportland for the adventure. And @sigler633 for being the ultimate sidekick! πŸ’•@petecho @hanoakpdx Link is in my profile for the whole adventure!"

"LONGAN πŸ‰πŸ‘ : My grandma, mom, and I would watch Chinese soap operas on tv and peel a bowl of these delicious lychee-like fruits. They're named after their shiny black seeds which translates to "dragon eyes". They have a sweet, aromatic flavor and juicy interior. They are used in Eastern medicine for relaxation and stress reduction, and are believed to increase longevity, improve blood circulation, and improve happiness! #longan"
