Jake Godby is an author and the pastry chef/co-owner of Humphry Slocombe. He worked his way up through San Francisco’s fine-dining restaurant ranks: Boulevard, Zuni, Fifth Floor and Coi. By that point, he had some experience making incendiary desserts.
