"Joey Campanaro is a great chef who makes simple items like the meatballs at his neighborhood favorite that are worthy of the gods."
Chef David Burke reviews Pumpkin pancakes at Little Owl

"These are moist but fluffy and very flavorful. I didn't know what to do when they were placed in front of me. They were very big and hot off the griddle, and tasted just like pumpkin pie."
Chef Jimmy Bradley reviews Ricotta cavatelli at Little Owl
$$$ | Breakfast/Brunch | Modern | American
West Village
"Joey Campanaro has a way with this noodle. He uses his grandmother's recipe which has ricotta cheese added to the dough. The resulting pasta has just the right amount of tooth while still remaining soft and velvety. He serves it with different accompaniments for the seasons, but no matter how he prepares it, the dish will be delicious and satisfying."
