Chef Max MacKissock reviews Fresh bacon at Rioja

"This might be the reason why I asked Jen Jasinski to marry me. This dish of perfectly cooked pork belly crisped in the pizza oven and served over a curried ci-ci bean purée is luxurious in all the right ways. The fresh bacon has been on the menu at Rioja since the beginning, and I hope it never comes off. The expertly crafted wine list is, of course, heavily focused on the Rioja region of Spain and is always worth checking out."

"I love the pressed sausages, pickles, and mustard sampler. This is a great dish to order with a couple of beers while enjoying a relaxing day after work or any afternoon."
