Plain Cheese Pizza
"Plain Cheese Pizza at Alta Strada Market in Wellesley, This like the pastas they do as perfect as it gets. The dough is super crunchy with the right balance of slat and caramelization, sauce is nice and acidic. It re-heats well and as always spot on."

Fried chicken and waffles
"The fried chicken and waffles at The Biltmore in Newton has been on the menu for a while, and it's the only thing I order when I go there. It's perfectly cooked fried chicken with thick, crispy breading and a super sweet waffle topped with maple butter. I like to douse it with tabasco. It's an over the top, gluttonous meal."

Country pad thai
"This is the best pad Thai I have ever had. It is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy rice noodles topped with bits of crispy chicken, chopped peanuts and fresh green onions. I was there almost everyday for lunch while we built our restaurant, and they do this dish perfectly every time."
