"The relish, the chutney, the creamy aioli and the sweet potato crisps all play well into this amazing tubed meat concoction. This is one place you're going to want to try every combination!"

"Good Dog food truck parks at Buchanan’s Native Plants on Sundays. We love to go shop for new plants for the backyard garden and then get a bánh mì dog. It’s a local chick, local dogs, and really fun hot dogs! And now we can bring our puppy Delilah, too! Buchanan’s is the best place for organic, native plants and supplies to the backyard or porch. This is a specialty dog, so you won't always find it on their menu, but get it when they have it available!"

"I am a vanilla girl at heart, which is odd for a pastry chef. I love a great vanilla ice cream, and the cats at Fat Cat Creamery have perfected their vanilla ice cream using only local ingredients. It’s smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. A little salt at the end really makes the vanilla pop. It’s even better with a little birthday cake. They don't have a storefront, but you can find it at coffee shops and specialty food stores."

"I ordered this because I saw a server walk it by to another table and had to try it. It's potato chip-crusted chicken fried steak with gravy, potatoes, and eggs—the ultimate breakfast/brunch for me. The crust is awesome and the gravy and fried eggs combine to make the perfect sauce. A nap usually follows."

"We're closed on Mondays, but I still go into work. Before I head over to the office, I like to pick up a Santa Fe sandwich: turkey with tomatoes, housemade mango chutney mayo, and a side of potato salad from Dacapo's on 11th Street. It's such a generous portion and the perfect lunch to get me going."
