About Sang Yoon

Sang Yoon is the chef and proprietor of Father’s Office gastropub and Lukshon restaurant in Los Angeles, California. He began his career in fine dining in Michelin-starred kitchens of Paris, New York, and Los Angeles including work at Chinois on Main and later as executive chef of Michael’s, Santa Monica’s famous dining destination for contemporary California cuisine.

"For me, the OG of the 'new' burger is still the best. Only a perfectionist like chef Sang Yoon could have created such deep satisfaction. Perfectly, but not too finely, ground dry-aged beef is cooked medium-rare and topped with a jam of caramelized onions and bacon, plus a little Gruyère, Maytag blue, and a bite of arugula. Can I have one now?"
