Nick Roberts is the chef and co-owner of Hudson House, Playa Provisions, The Tripel, and DA KIKOKIKO. For him, one of the most important aspects of the restaurant business is being part of a community. “The kinship and camaraderie among chefs and restaurateurs is something that really shaped me when I was first starting out in the restaurant business,” he explains.

"The Hudson House owned by Brooke Williamson is a great gastropub in Redondo Beach. Their hanger steak has more flavor in it than it should be able to hold; it's just amazing! Served with truffle cheese fries, you can’t find a better steak locally. And the Hudson Pretzel burger with grilled onions, bacon, arugula, and Jarlsberg cheese is one of the best burgers I've ever had. If you don’t get the steak, make sure to add the truffle fries to it instead!"
