"What else is there to say? It's just good. Smoky, lightly spiced chorizo is a nice counterpoint to the mussels. The whole thing is delicious to sop up with the Belgian frites they serve on the side. The curry mayo is my favorite of the three mayos that you get; it has just the right amount of curry where it's obvious but not overwhelming."

"I love the fanfare and showboating you get at Brasserie Beck, but at their heart they are truly about quality ingredients, and so am I, so I love just their classic mussels. Made with white wine, fresh herbs, garlic and butter, they're incredibly simple but just so beautifully done it's a really hard dish to beat."
