"Oak & Rye does a great gnocchi with sausage, kale and Parmigiano. It’s the kind of thing where I’m like…can I order a double portion?? Dana is the owner of this family-run business, along with her boyfriend. They moved back from NYC where he had been pizza maker at Roberta’s, so they opened a pizza restaurant doing wood-fired pizzas and dishes."

"My dad isn't very adventurous, so we got the basic Margherita for him. But then we also went for the "Kingsley," with Taleggio, Calabrian chiles, garlic and guanciale. The strong flavor of the Taleggio and the chiles work really well together—hits every single note. And their "Improved Whiskey Cocktail" is the perfect drink to go with it: has a little absinthe in there, and the whole thing is balanced. They really put some thought into it."
