About Marc Meyer

A pioneer in the New York City restaurant scene for his commitment to sourcing locally, seasonally and sustainably, chef Marc Meyer showcases the season’s bounty through his vibrant, ingredient-driven cuisine at Cookshop and Shuka, the restaurants he owns with his wife and partner, Vicki Freeman. This fall Meyer and Freeman introduce downtown New York to their newest endeavors: Vic’s, in the former Five Points space and Rosie’s, Meyer’s passion project that draws on his love of Mexican cuisine and will open in the East Village in December.

At My Venues

Spaghetti squash with hazelnut cream, dried cherries and spiced fried kale
$$$, Happy Hour, Outdoor Seating, Modern, Full Bar, American, Chelsea
"The squash comes out pulled with rich and creamy hazelnut, which rounds out the vegetable. Also, the crunch from the hazelnuts and crispiness of the kale give great texture while the sweet, tart cherries brighten the dish up. The kitchen is run by a bunch of talented chefs who source from some of the best local farms in New England."
