About Derek Salkin

Chef Derek Salkin, who studied at The French Culinary Institute, most recently served as Chef de Cuisine of Pao, a collaboration with Paul Qui in Faena Hotel Miami Beach. His resume includes positions at Jean Georges, The Modern, Thomas Keller’s Per Se and The French Laundry, and Joël Robuchon Restaurant at the Mansion, a three Michelin-starred French restaurant located in Las Vegas. Salkin joined Le Politique as Executive Chef in November 2016.
