"As I prepared for what turned out to be one our busiest days to date, my wife comes in the kitchen and tells me of the passing of Paul Bocuse. My heart is still heavy. Even though I never met him in person, as a young chef I was awe struck by his work, inspired by his skill and dedication to the craft. I will be forever grateful to him and others who have inspired me."

"If you came in this weekend, you know it was all about the sweet potato. The farmers in Maryland have really put out some great varieties this season. These multi colored beauties are heirloom fingerling sweet potatoes. Just out of the oven, simply salt and sprinkle with cracked pepper."
