About Alan Sternberg

Inspired by global cuisine yet firmly grounded by strong Indiana roots, chef Alan Sternberg ranks among the top young chefs in the country. The 30-year-old executive chef of Common House and the upcoming Field Brewing restaurant, is a Rising Star Chef of the Year semi-finalist in the 2016 & 2018 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards. With an eye for design and an appreciation of local, seasonal ingredients, Alan has become known for creative food that is as beautiful as it is delicious. The young chef lives with his wife Audra and 2 kids.
