About Joel Hammond

Hammond grew up in Jackson Hole, graduating high school in 2008. After a short time in the Central Wyoming College culinary program, Hammond realized that hands-on learning suited his life better than paying for classes. Seeking exposure to a broader world Hammond sought short stints of experience at some top-notch kitchens in cities like Seattle, Bristol, England, and San Francisco, where he experienced Atelier Crenn. Chef Joel is now the executive chef at The White Buffalo Club in Jackson Hole
