About Kyo Koo

Kyo Koo, a native Oregonian, began to cook for his friends at the age of 13, making Korean marinated meat and even pizza with homemade dough. After graduating from culinary school, he built his impressive culinary resume from places such as Rockenwagner in Los Angeles, Scooter Kanfer's restaurant in West Hollywood, Mugaritz in Spain under Andoni Adruiz, Ethan Stowell's Union in Seattle and in Portland, BlueHour. Koo is currently chef/partner at both Portland's Danwei Canting and superhawk.
