About Mikayla Cohen

A native New Yorker, Mikayla Cohen found herself drawn to the the wine and hospitality profession while studying at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. After graduating, she found herself back in New York City working for Danny Meyer in a number of capacities (including at Union Square Cafe and Gramercy Tavern, and teaching wine classes for the group). Under the mentorship of master sommeliers and hospitality professionals she moved out to Northern California to get her hands dirty working the 2014 wine harvest. From there she spent three years on the sommelier team at The French Laundry until taking over the the program at Dominique Crenn's Petit Crenn. She is currently the GM and wine director of Petit Crenn.
