"Chef Kaiser is happy to guide you through the menu. We like the steak tikka, lamb biryani, and chicken hara masala with lots of tandoori naan. The steak tikka is known as 'Pakistani fajitas'! I have no idea how he makes it, but I think it has a spice rub on it before it's grilled. Spicy and charred, it tastes great with the naan as a wrap, just like a taco! I feel right at home here. The food is similar in some ways to mine but with different spices. It’s very rich, deep, and complex."
Goat biryani

"Because chef Kaiser is always there, he takes your order and cooks your food. I never leave without having the goat biryani. The meat is marinated in yogurt and spices the night before, and the outcome is a very flavorful dish of basmati and and goat."
Chicken hara masala

"Himalaya is stuck in the middle of a strip center off of a freeway, but given how busy it always is, it's a testament to how good Chef Kaiser Lashkari’s cooking is. The décor isn’t much, but the chicken hara masala has a burst of colorful flavor, harnessing aggressive spices, and herbaceousness in the most tenderly braised chicken."
