About Ana Castro

Ana Castro was born in Texas and raised in Mexico City. She is currently the sous chef at Coquette in New Orleans. She will be co-sous chef at Thalia, a new restaurant from the owners of Coquette, which is set to open in the Lower Garden District this spring. Most recently Castro was named a finalist for the Rising Star Chef of the Year award from the James Beard Foundation.
