"(1/2) We had the pleasure of hosting "The Edible Other" earlier this week presented by @touch_bistro. "The Edible Other" is a journey through food, culture and identity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • • Five Chefs, @chefedwardkim @immmchicago's Chef Dew, @chef.mani, @abeconlon, @ninjachef, who represent an array of Asian cuisine, gathered for the #EdibleOther. Each Chef Storyteller was tasked with creating a dish that represented a theme (i.e. Childhood, Tradition, Journey) from the Asia region. • • • Local food community members were invited to gave a mini lecture on the impact of food to tech, worker justice, and immigrant communities.
