"Working the tasting menu. I know we're spoiled with good food but I wish we had this in the Bay Area."

"Day 5 of #7daypastrychallenge, trying to catch up after missing at least 2 days. This dish was called It's Almost It, my take on the classic San Francisco ice cream sandwich, the It's It. This dish was named by @dcpatterson when I was working at @coirestaurant. It was milk chocolate ice cream sandwiched between oatmeal cookies and coated in a thin layer of chocolate. Garnish was orange-fennel marmalade and blood orange segments. Now I nominate @sam_mason, who taught me so much about ice cream during my time with him, to take on the #7daypastrychallenge.
