About Justin Bogle

Bogle was the youngest chef in New York City, at the age of 28, to receive Two Stars from the MICHELIN Guide, which he received for the fourth year in a row with the 2013 Guide. In August 2010, Restaurant Hospitality and StarChefs.com named Bogle a “Rising Star”, followed by Zagat honoring him as one of New York City’s “30 Under 30” Up-and-Coming Chefs to watch in 2011. Bogle has appeared on local and national TV segments, such as Iron Chef America, The Martha Stewart Show and NBC’s LX New York, as well as in national publications such as TIME Magazine, Food & Wine, Art Culinaire and Forbes. In the Spring of 2013 Bogle relocated back to his hometown of Philadelphia to open Avance, a progressive American restaurant at 1523 Walnut St. Avance. Bogle has returned to NYC and can be found behind the stove at Stephen Starr and Daniel Rose’s, James Beard Best New Restaurant 2017, Le Coucou filling the role, as it’s a Chef de Cuisine.
