Read on to plan your next trip—or just to be sure you've checked all the best boxes on your home turf.

Cascina Spinasse

Located in Capitol Hill, a neighborhood notorious for its badass restaurants, Cascina Spinasse at 1531 14th Avenue might be the most revered in the neighborhood by our experts. Focusing on Northern Italian cuisine in a high-end setting, expect to be comforted by artisanal antipasti, hand made pasta, and hearty primi like milk-braised pork shoulder. The crown jewel of Spinasse is the Tajarin con Burro e Salvia. It is a shining example of how simplicity and restraint can be the best way to showcase the integrity of well-made and carefully sourced ingredients. Delicate, whisper-thin, handmade egg noodles are cooked in butter and sage— that's it. If you’re looking for something more substantial, our experts say the Tajarin al Ragu is a close second favorite. Set in an upscale casual atmosphere, Cascina Spinasse has a lovely list of aperitivi and amari for you to sip on as well.

Dick's Drive-In

Dick's is Americana personified. It originated as a classic drive-in diner where servers on skates would roll up to your car and hand over your food. With multiple locations in Seattle and hours spanning 10:30am to 2am every day, this is the perfect place to hit up either before or after a night of partying. By the way, there are only three variations of an order you can make: Burger, fries, and ice cream. However, there is no limit to how creative you can get with these items once they are in your possession. Oh come on! You’re telling us we’re the only ones who dip our fries in our shakes? I guess we’ll just be over here sitting at the kid’s table, where we won’t be judged for having FUN.
