"Joyful House has been one of our go-to restaurants for the past 15 years. Chef Kai-Wa has some interesting dishes, but most of the time he surprises us with his home style cooking and brings out dishes we’ve never seen before. We’re mostly there around the hours of 12am – 1am when we know he’ll be there. If not, his son Gary Yau takes very good care of us! Besides the Goby Cod, his house soup of lotus barks, stewed beef and carrots always hits the spot for when we’re feeling ill or stressed."
