"Bantam is a small restaurant, only open for dinner, with a wood-fired pizza oven. What i like is: they have a full menu but they’re super vegetable-centric. You can see the trajectory over the course of a week on how they use their products. Ben and Sarah, the owners, have been in Santa Cruz a really long time. They do a great job. They do a really simple pizza with Trugole cheese, escarole, and bread crumbs. it’s super simple and really satisfying."
