"Of all the Vietnamese bakeries in the city, their bread is my favorite. They make their own chicken liver mousse spread and mayonnaise. $3 will get you fresh jalapeños, radishes, slightly pickled carrots, cilantro, their freshly baked bread, and whatever meat you want. I think the price ranges from $2.50 to $4 for a full sandwich, which is just out of control. I like the bánh mì with Chinese meatballs; they’re really unattractive looking things with black mushrooms, but the sandwich is great."
