CF:
How would you sum up Alden & Harlow in one sentence?
MS:
A comfortable and relaxing space in a historic building with thoughtfully sourced, honest American food.

CF:
Give us diners the scoop on how to "do it right" at Alden & Harlow.
MS:
You can have any kind of experience you want at Alden & Harlow. You can sit at the bar and have a cocktail or glass of wine with a light snack, or you can work your way through tasting a handful of different dishes. If you're looking to do dinner, we suggest a snack and two plates per person. Everything is meant to be shared and passed (if you're the sharing type!). The dishes on the menu are laid out from lightest to more substantial, left to right.

CF:
Go-to dishes?
MS:
So far my favorites are: the chicken fried rabbit with celery, apple, blue cheese, and chile oil; the pickled corn pancakes with buttermilk, maple, and shishito peppers; and the grilled foie gras served with spiced fruit, sherry vinegar, and warm crumpet.

CF: Give us your best o
bligatory 30-second awards speech.
MS:
I'm so proud of how dedicated everyone has been about getting our doors open. My kitchen team, general manager, and beverage manager are all incredible people, and there is no way this could have come together without them. I'm just so excited to cook for everyone!
